Khao Hom is a Restaurant in Singapore (Ang Mo Kio neighborhood) that serves Authentic Thai Food, we use an imported spices and herbs direct from Thailand, and the recipe from Rung Mama, a Thai lady that has been cook for many Thais, and Singaporean since 1980s, in both Thailand and Singapore.

It's a sure thing, since Thailand is one of the highest contributor of Rice to the world, not just common rice, but a good quality rice that is fragrant, yet tasteless.
In Khao Hom, we used Fragrant rice 🍚 to accompany our bold and tasteful food served on the table. From that simple and common words, we believe it's simplicity is the one that brings up not our name, but your appetite of a nice and authentic Thai Food.

The tasteless of white rice is so subtle, so gentle, sometimes we even forget that we use rice as the base of our meal. Especially when it mixed with a bold and flavorful taste of authentic Thai Food, I can't really describe it exactly, but it felt rice is all the way at the back there, that we hardly notice, but yet we felt something is missing, and not fully right without it.
